| Universiti Sains Malaysia in collaboration with Yokohama City University is inviting you to be a part of the 2nd International Academic Consortium of Sustainable Cities Symposium 2011. The symposium will be held on September 10-11, 2011 at the University Conference Hall, USM. |

| This year’s IACSC Symposium is themed, “Towards a Sustainable Urban Future: A Collaboration of Higher Education Institutions and Local Society” discussing on three main areas: Environment, Public Health, and Urban Design and Management. |

| Benefits of Attending: |

| The opportunity to interact and discuss among academicians, experts, and practitioners on issues about sustainability in urban areas. The invited speakers, both foreign and local, were chosen based from their expertise in the field of sustainability. Their presentations will be most beneficial to all who wish to broaden their knowledge about this topic. |

| Aside from the symposium itself, participants, both presenters and non-presenters will get a chance to view Penang in an optional Penang Heritage tour as arranged by the postgraduate students mastering in Tourism. |
